Vent

This was a quickie I drew the other night, featuring my OC Hawkheart (who is suppose to represent me).
I can't really explain my intentions on this piece, but perhaps a little bit below will...

They say we have 'freedom of speech',
Yet when we try to speak out,
The sirens blare and smoke ravels around our windpipes,
Choking us from within and stifling our words,
We are forced to clasp our mouths shut,
To keep our opinions to ourselves,
Despite our fathers building this country up,
They could do nothing to quell this hatred,
This unreasonable torture,
For many this angers,
But instead we are thrown into solitary,
Unknown why,
For we only followed the ancestors rules,
They were not restrictions,
But perhaps rights,
Who has 'rights' anymore,
For when we have been pushed to the edge of extinction,
Without even knowing it?

This was an excerpt from my mind; a little chunk of my view on this world is.
